Lot 38:
Description
Elongated bifacial flaked chert blade with a narrow, tapered tip and broader basal end. Rippling flake scars cover both faces with fine pressure-retouch along the edges and a mix of gray and orange-brown surface coloration. Edges are sharply worked and the base shows irregular flake removals consistent with hand flaking. Keywords: flaked stone tool, bifacial blade, chert, flint, gray patina, orange-brown patina, pressure-flaked, projectile point, stone knife, hand-flaked
