Bronze circular medallion suspended from a faded blue silk ribbon, exhibiting warm brown and copper tones. Obverse features a high-relief bearded male bust with a surrounding legend that includes the words PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES and the date 1862 at the rim.
